This is an all-ages, all-sizes, all-genders and sexual orientation friendly tour and shopping experience. After meeting to discuss your shopping wish list at a trendy Manhattan hotel lobby, you step foot onto the busy streets of the city and head to your shops, flea markets and other chosen shopping spots. By the end of this minimum four-hour experience, you’ll not only have bags and bags of finds but you’ll leave feeling like thrift family.

Our group tours are designed to bring strangers together in an inclusive, kind and fun way. Meet other visitors to NYC and share your secondhand stories with them from store to store.

Where We Meet
We typically meet guests at the Ace Hotel located at 20 W 29th Street (midtown Manhattan, 10 blocks south of Times Square).
Here you’ll find a cafe and bathroom, which are both convenient before your marathon secondhand shopping day! For larger groups and corporate events, we organize meeting at private location also conveniently located near midtown and subway access.

Samantha - Founder & Owner
Samantha Davis founded the Ultimate Secondhand Shopping Experience in 2018. She thought it would be “something fun to do.” Little did she know that the tour would grow, and grow, and grow! It was like the universe was telling her “to do this!”
But let’s back up for a second. Sammy has been a secondhand shopper since she was 16 years old. She never thought it would turn “into her career.” Today, not only is she the owner and founder of this experience but also a full time reseller and resale marketplace owner and coach.
When not running one of her many businesses she is in the thrift trenches with you – finding the pieces you love to wear and creating more ease, joy and accessibility to your Big Apple shopping experience.

Isra - Lead Team Member
Isra is an Iraqi-Swedish actor and writer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She joined the Ultimate NYC Secondhand Shopping Experience in October 2021! Her enthusiasm and wit, plus an eye for the trends and what will fit your style personality, make her an exceptional guide and secondhand stylist for your shopping experience.
Isra describes her personal style as a mix of “Swedish minimalism and funky NYC flair.” She’s literally shopped secondhand all around the globe, from Stockholm to London to Berlin and more! Many of our guests have been quoted saying, “Isra quickly became our shopping BFF!”
When not secondhand shopping on her own or leading a tour, she’s building her acting career here in the Big Apple! Isra has been featured on Amazon Prime, internationally televised commercials and on stage in Los Angeles and beyond.
Most group tours will have the pleasure of working with Isra as their guide, stylist, and “thrift mom” (you’ll learn what that is exactly — on the tour!).
Mecca, Team Member (pictured front)
Jenny “Mecca” (her preferred name) is a born-and-raised New Yorker, holistic health coach and of course, secondhand shopper!
Mecca joined the ultimate NYC secondhand shopping experience team in April 2024. She has enthusiastically jumped into building some of the best experiences for our guests, who leave her raving reviews and request to “work with Mecca again!”
Mecca loves working with smaller groups, which guarantees that even our smaller tours still have an amazing experience shopping the streets of New York City.
When not secondhand shopping with guests, Mecca works as a movement coach and manages her resale business on eBay.

Kate - Junior Team Member
Kate is an actor, theater producer/director, lifelong collector, pro-thrifter, and born-and-raised New Yorker.
Kate is thrilled to be joining the Ultimate NYC Secondhand Shopping Experience team. After graduating college, Kate started her own venture selling premium, designer, and vintage women’s clothing in 2022. She quickly found a community on the new and growing live-selling app Whatnot where she sells her curated thrifted finds on camera through live auctions.
One of Kate’s favorite parts of thrifting is it leading her to explore more of her city! Her goal is to eventually make it to every thrift and consignment store in NYC.
When not thrifting and selling clothing, Kate works as a director, producer, and actor in New York theater, primarily focusing on the development of new musical theater. She studied at LaGuardia High School and Princeton University and has worked off-Broadway and at the Kennedy Center in DC. Most recently, Kate produced and performed in a new play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
Kate leads the popular speed thrifting tour which takes guests through the massive stores of Bushwick, Brooklyn. She loves adding touches of NY history to her tours and helping guests find new pieces that they will wear time and time again!

Team building activities can end with complimentary alcoholic beverages. Add-ons of private photographer or pre-activity all-expenses-paid breakfast are also available.

Our trusted guide & expert stylist will meet at your hotel to pick up for the day. This tour is 100 percent customizable and includes 2 paid-for-car-service rides between neighborhoods so you can “shop til you drop” with ease.
